Sink enjoys spending time with his family and supporting sports at the University of Georgia, his children’s alma mater, particularly the Georgia Bulldogs football program.
The Georgia Bulldogs football team has consistently ranked as one of the nation’s most successful, dating back to its inception in 1902. The program has won 31 bowl games and has enjoyed a number of dominant periods, most recently in the early 2000s. Between 2002 and 2005, under the leadership of head coach Mark Richt, the Bulldogs established a 44-9 record, including a 13-1 2002 season. The Bulldogs went 3-1 in bowl play during this time, taking the Sugar Bowl, Capital One Bowl, and Outback Bowl.
Aside from a handful of lackluster seasons, the Bulldogs have continued their winning ways in recent years. The 2017 and 2018 seasons resulted in 13-2 and 11-3 records, respectively, and saw the program take home the 2017 Rose Bowl.
